Removing paper, paint and/or glue from a lifted blister

Does anyone have experience with this? I have a card (not mego) that I pulled the blister from. I going to be using it for something else so I need to remove the paper (fairly easy) and the paint from the lip of the blister. The paint/dye is proving very difficult to remove. Any suggestions?

thanks in advance for any help you could offer . . .

    Jim,

This is the stuff I use for those kinds of jobs. I think you can get it at Wal-mart. I've used it to get tape residue off cardboard and it does not leave a stain when it dries. I've used it on plastic many times with great success.

Goo gone is also good - just be careful with products like Goof-Off that work really well on metal- but can eat plastic!!

Now what do you use to attach to a new card?
