How tough is it to find Mego King Kong against the World

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how rare is Mego King Kong against the World set?

I just won an auction for a loose Kong from the set- but that's all I got.

It ain't that easy to get a complete set that's for sure. The loose Kong shows up more often than the whole package, and even that doesn't show up all that much.

I could not find any completed auctions when I searched Ebay.

I'm surprised this item doesn't get more attention- seems like the only Mego action figure-style Kong out there.

They also made a model kit which is not as big as the game, but similar in design. I actually found that loose but complete for $5.00. But the game is another matter altogether. They do pop up on Ebay from time to time. And when they do, they usually go for three figures.

Mego kind of made two posable Kong vinyl figures in Japan. I say "kind of" because they were actually made by Onda and Bullmark, but Mego's name is on the packaging because they held the master license for Kong at the time. The Onda one isn't too hard to find if you look around, but the Bullmark one is impossible, I've been looking for one for years and always turn up empty. The only one I've ever seen pictured is in Bonavita's Mego book.
