I'm nostalgic for toothpaste now?

Saw this for the first time, probably since the 70's, and had a nostalgic rush. It's really weird when it hits you out of nowhere, that excited "HEY! I HAD THAT" It's that strange feeling of being reconnected with something that hasn't crossed your mind in 20-30 years.

I don't remember that toothpaste. That's pretty neat.

The toothpaste stuck clearly in my mind was the clear sea blue Crest with silver sparkles. I was big into sparkles at the time. Sparkly bike seat covers (& access), sparkly stickers, sparkly pencils, and to my joy sparkly toothpaste!

I remember my mind being blown when they came out with the new-fangled holographic rainbow laser cut 3-D stickers and things. Technology!!

...and scratch n' smell stickers. ^-^

I completely relate to the nostalgia rush! Not with this toothpaste in particular, but there are several things I've picked up for the same reasons- a box of Dixie cups with magic tricks on them, a display box filled with Garbage Can-dy, a roll of price stickers for Lionel Kiddie City... the list goes on.

I don't remember that. The toothpastes of choice in our family were Colgate, Close-up, Pepsodent, Gleem and later Aim.

I remember that there was a character type toothpaste for kids that my mom bought us, would have been around '77-'80. Can't remember if it was Snoopy? Bugs Bunny? I know I had a little Snoopy toothbrush.
But, that's something I'm not willing to buy on eBay, unless MOC, for obvious reasons.
