    Dr. Mego's "Creature" Head

I am hoping some one has bought one of these and can post pictures so I can see the detail.

Here is a pic from a member's collection.

But no worries, BBF is releasing the Gillman and Bride as the next wave for the Universal Monsters.

Batlash86- do you want an up-close of the Doc Creature head on a complete figure? Just say the word, & I'll shoot & post for ya. That's what a great mood I'm in after hearing the new Creature news about 1/2 hour ago!!!!

        Here ya go.

The eyes have a blob of glow in the dark fabric paint on then to simulate the Mad Monsters look.
The eyes underneath look like human eyes.
I'll see if I can find the original clay sculpt so you can see the detail better.

Shellhead- I really dig your paint. Did you prime, or sand the head at all before you painted, or did ya paint straight on the green head? I haven't painted mine at all yet.... Yours looks great....

Shellhead sculpted the head for me - he purposely made it different from
the Universal Monster version so I could sell it forever.

              And hopefully it will Doc!
Galaxy Explorer, when I paint heads, I start with a head cast the correct color.
Then I scrub it with soft scrub and a tooth brush and paint the details with acrylic paint. ( with brush and airbrush )
Then I finish it with a spray can of acrylic sealer.
Painting only details over colored plastic makes it look more like a real Mego.

Thanks to all for responding! Now I can make a Sea Creature to go with my Mad Monsters since it looks like I will be getting a Universal Creature in the Retro Line.
