Search for an action figure of the 80s

    Hello,

I am new here and I hope your excuse my english - I'm from Germany and I just learned it at school many years ago

I don't know if here is the right place for my question - in case if not, please put it the right place.

In the 80s when I was about 8 to 10 years old I got a present from my mom. It was an action figure - I think it was from the US (definitely not from germany). Later it was selled on a flee market so I don't know the name or anything else.

I really hope you cracks can hep me to find out what it was. The figure was about that size like the "Masters of the Universe" ones. It was not with so much muscles. It was a man with an orange suit on, brown hair and a black machine gun to put in his hands. He had also a button on his belly (a real small one) and if you push it, his upper body turned around. There where his back should be was another ftont of him but the upper body was without clothes, the skin was totally blue with all veins in red! His arms and legs were mobile in the joints. There was a small comic as an inlay, and I remember the story about the figure was in the sci-fi genre for sure.

Any ideas what I am searching for)

Those were advertised on the back of US comics here for several years. It seemed like it ran every month for two years!

Welcome to the board! We have good folks here who are more than glad to help! As you can see!

I remember having the DC comic as a kid, I remember thinking "the characters are kind of creepy".

The whole line is right up there on my "must" list. A really bizarre "one off" action figure line from a company that's really only known for model kits.
There's also 2 even more obscure parts to this toyline, that being the "beast machines" that I'm secretly in love with (half man half tanks) and a line of wind-ups based on the 5"-6" figures.

I remember the Beast Machines commercial really well, even then they seemed to be another concept shoe horned into the Power Lords line.

This looks to be circa the first DC He-Man miniseries. Very early days of the DC miniseries.

I love the Power Lords! They're awesome weird.
I wish more toys today like some of the tripped out sci-fantasy lines they made in the 80's.

I'd like to get more than the two I own, but I'm lame and never get to it. )-(
