I'm posting the link to the original 1978 Mego Catalog (http://www.megomuseum.com/catalog/1978/index.shtml) for those of you who haven't seen it. The 78/79 Supplement (http://www.megomuseum.com/catalog/1978_supplement/index.shtml)is also an inspiration as we are basically creating an alternative supplement to the 78 catalog.
Also, check out the Vinnie Baiera interview (http://www.megomuseum.com/megolibrary/interviews/vinnybaiera/interview.html). His notes and information are very inspiring and relevant. All of the interviews (http://www.megomuseum.com/megolibrary/interviews/) are helpful along those lines.
Ben's World's Greatest Toys (http://www.worldsgreatesttoys.com) book has tons of great info about catalog creation and interesting insights as to what was happening at Mego in 1978.
Please feel free to add to his reference/inspiration thread!
