    70s toy identification help

Ok- so first let me say that my memory may well be faulty- I could very easily be confusing 2 different toys!

What I THINK I remember was a blue bazooka style plastic gun from the early 70s - the problem is that what I think I remember it doing was what the Ghost Gun did- project a picture of a ghost on the wall- when you pulled the trigger it put a hole in the ghost.

Any ideas? Or is it most likely I remember the ghost gun- but am confusing it with something else I had.

Well- yes- probably...but I think I recall maybe another toy that was more like a bazooka with a flip up site...

Like I said, I am almost certainly mixing 2 different toys in my head.

          Hmmmm....

There was a motorized Ghost Gun too.... I think it was a different colour, and had some stylistic changes.

Ctc might be on to something....

you might want to read this thread I made back in 2009

              http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=30115

I did not have the ghost gun but the upgraded and slightly different battery operated version (which used monster reels among others). On page 1 of the link I provided, post #9 has a link to a picture of the one I used to have. It may be the same thing you were looking for

                Sorry for the thread dive.

I wonder if th OP is referring to the System 7 when talking about the ble bazooka?

If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.
