View Full Version : Buck Rogers 1/6 Scale Painted Head Sculpts on ebay
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've got a set of 1/6 scale painted head sculpts that were used in the Buck Rogers production listed on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120852677182). I'll be happy to answer any questions via the forums or through the listing.

SWEET! Well whoever buys those heads can reduce them down to eight inch scale and off we go with the customs! Awesome Craig! :drool_y:

No doubt. A 1/9 or 1/6 Hawk is all I want.

Any chance that you'll be putting a set of the 8" prototype figures on ebay as well, Craig?

Yes, at some point I'll probably be listing the prototypes of Hawk, Killer Kane, and the Draconian guard.

Since your selling the prototypes, does this mean that this new company are NOT buying the molds to begin the continuation of the line or is the line truely dead now???

The prototypes were not part of the deal, which is still in the works.

A fellow Mego Museum member won the auction. I'll let him decide if he wants to let others know about it.

Someone got a great deal there. Our studio regulary sells custom 1/6th scale painted heads on ebay for $150.00 each. To get 5 "one of a kind" heads for that price is really crazy. I for one would rather not see castings of this showing up in any size. We have been getting financially raped by recasters for the 10 to 15 years we have been creating custom sculpts. We agreed to resculpt Buck, Hawk and Kane and do all the paintmasters for WAY below industry standard price to help get this line started. I'm sorry if this sounds selfish, but I really don't think it would be right for someone else to profit from our work (via recasting).
