:enraged: This is a lousy way to start my day. Some of you know I've been making Springfield Collection doll vids on YouTube, w/ the full support of the company who makes the dolls, (they even sent me a doll bed to thank me!), and this idiot copies it. He won't remove it so I reported him to YouTube. That just really ticks me off! :7:
OK, I'm done ranting.

That sucks! I hope that YouTube removes the video soon. Nothing like someone stealing another persons work. What do these people think when they do this anyway?

Yeah i know it's frustrating though. Same kind of person also steals ebay pics. Pond scum.

THere are various programs that can rip youtube vids to be downloaded onto your harddrive. They can then be re-uploaded into your own vid channel. It's the ultimate form of plagiarism online.

So basically it works like this. Chris has a video on YouTube. I like Chris's video and decide I want to make it my own.
As an example: I rip/download Chris's video and then post it as mine. Wallah! Instant toy collection (or whatever) of stuff I do not even own, but claim to others that I do.

Well, it's down now. Dumb jerk. I warned him. I wonder if his account was suspended, (the guy had maybe 4 vids up, including mine), and if it was, he only has himself to blame. :yuk: Nyah!

Glad to hear that all is better for now at least. The chances are great that his other videos were probably jacked from someone else to.

if things like this may be a future concern, do what I started to do-- watermark your videos. Unless it is some toy review, most of my newer clips will have my youtube username super imposed on the video for a few seconds before it disappears. Now regardless of who may take it, the viewer will know exactly where it came from originally
