Help ID this

Hello!

Long time lurker, first time post. Can anyone help to ID this piece? I got it in a large collection of GI Joe/Big Jim/Marx & Gabriel pieces and parts. I can't seem to place it in any one series.

Maybe the medal is from this or this set? I think there were a couple more Hasbro MoH figures, too. Whomever it belongs to, it's from a member of the US Army--the Army, Air Force, and Navy (Marines get the Navy version) each have a different version.
