Empire Strikes Back Dewback Canada only. Value?

Do any Star Wars collectors have any idea what the ESB Dewback goes for?
I've found a bit of info, and know that it's pretty scarce. It's the "blacked out special offer" version. Very nice box with the bilingual french/english.

That's a rare gem, indeed!

And interestingly, sometimes the ones with the "blacked out" offer text still actually contained the Stormtrooper figure anyway.

They pop up occasionally for sale on the Rebel Scum vintage classified forums.
An AFA graded one was offered for sale there a few months ago.
I'm sure the guys over there would be able to give you an accurate idea as to its current value.

Thanks Bruce!, Yeah, I found a fairly heated discussion on that forum regarding whether the the blacked out ones found with the stormtroopers inside were legit or not. pretty interesting.
Mine doesn't have one.
What forum do I ask the question in? do they have a "mego fact" type one or maybe a "star wars price check"?

Reportedly $250-$400 (depending on condition naturally) if anybody was interested.

Vintage: Toys board is Galactic Central for such subjects.
And Vintage: Classifieds is the hub for selling.

TBH, with a nice box, I'd expect it to be closer to the 400 mark or above.

Well that's great news then as it's an excellent box. The info was provided by Scott B. whom I would gather is an excellent source of info as he's written a book on Canadian SW.

I just set up a new Flickr account and I'm finishing taking pictures of some stuff today (hopefully). My New Year's resolution is to be more photo friendly around here (It's sometimes hard to id unknown toys without pics I know).
