The picture on the box for the MEL, there is an all red M11x figure standing in the doorway of the conning tower. To my knowledge, Takara never did an all red M11x. Did Mego plan on releasing this figure in red?

Hpefully Ray'll join in soon.... he's the big Microman/Micronaut expert. It's possible that the all red figure is a premium (there were a lot of Microman pack-in figures back in the day) or maybe a prototype, or maybe a bad colour separation on the pic.

Mego had access to various Microman samples directly from Takara, including samples of color combinations that Takara might have considered but never moved into production themselves, and the premium figures CTC noted.
