          Never understood the point to needing a garage in the future if the cars folded up like briefcases like in The Jetsons.

            There is a parking garage in Philly that's just like this. It's called: "The Lift". As Palitoy mentioned I don't know how you get your car. I didn't see any jetpacks.
            If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

              Sears sold another design that was similar though the cars were arranged in a partitioned block (again, of transparent blue plastic), something like a tic-tac-toe board. You would press a button and a single unit that traveled on an X/Y axis would move to a particular "cubicle" and retrieve the car held there.
