Tony Mucaro mentions they received the studio sized Buck Starfighter painted and assembled wrong from the "liscencsor". Does that mean a dept. at Universal Studios took the model from the spfx dept and painted it the wrong color and assembled it wrong before turning it over to Mego?
At one time he says he wanted Mego to consider producing the Starfighter as a Model kit. Was Mego in competition to make model kits of the Buck line before MPC got the go-ahead to make plastic models? Did Mego ever have a comprehensive model kit line in the works for any of their properties?
A few times in this interview Tony said the sculptors of action figures turned in the Acetates for the figures. What does that mean? They used Acetate Plastic to sculpt like-nesses? Or they cast the clay sculpts in aceatate plastic?
