Christian Bale was trying to visit this Chinese activist and got pushed away. Interesting story and a video at the bottom of the report documenting the event.

He should have gone Dark Knight on that Chinese guy...

Or talk to him like he did to that lighting guy on the set!

I hope that Chinese guy isn't the next Batman bad guy, 'cause that furry hat will never work in Hollywood...

Like Bale or not, he seems a man with very strong convictions. A very intense person for sure. Whether this could be seen as a publicity stunt or not, it took cajones to do.

I'd like to see Bale do a commercial in his own, intense way.
He'd look at the audience and say (in the Dark Knight voice): "You have to buy this cheese. It's the...best...cheese...ever...None of that sissy French soft cheese. This is...hard cheese. The toughest cheese in the world. Bullets bounce off it. Buy it now!"

Oh the irony...lol.

In Dark Knight...he easily goes into China and kidnaps a heavily guarded crook...but in real life...he gets pushed around by Chinese authorities like a gnat...and kicked outta there in mere seconds...oh the irony...
