Mr. Postman handed me a package today.
Seemed kind of big for the CD I had ordered not just two days ago...

Upon opening it, I found a note and a gift from Wayne (Raider5gt), "something to cheer me up after a tough year". It was a Gorn Captain Whacky Wobbler, some great Godzilla stickers, and a cool Christmas card.

Now how great is that?
I've had so very little support from my "real" family during the last year, but my action figure family here is keeping a eye on me and knows when to cheer me up just when I need it!
And the gift couldn't be more appropriate, as I try to pick up all merchandise from my favorite Star Trek monster. Luckily, I didn't have this one yet, and I love it!

Thanks, Wayne. Saying "you're a great guy" doesn't begin to cover it!
But I'll say it anyway....:yeah::grin:

Love to hear stuff like this. :yeah: It is truly a great bunch. :heart: Lotsa luv in here. I always try to hook people up as well, throw in extra goodies on trades, etc... People reciprocate as well. I've gotten lots of neat stuff from Zica, Ed, Delorean, The General, Doc, the Castaway boys, ect-- Hell, earlier this year, Scott sent me 3 Cipsa apes, just because.

Without a doubt it's the sense of "family" here that I love! Everyone looking out for each other, trading like I was 10 years old again. Building our collections. Having the opportunity to vent on a bad deal or a bad day.

I would rather spend Christmas Day here....but I have to go to my in-laws. :smiley1:

This forum has helped members through financially tough times, divorces, and every other tragedy I can think of. Way more than once this group of "Doll" collectors, it's what my wife calls us, has come together in fun, jest, and aid. The folks here quickly become family and that is what keeps me coming back.
