I found this Godzilla in an antique mall today. No real markings on it. U.K.R.D. with a group of numbers on one of the feet. That's it. I anticipate this is a knock off, but wow....he is a big knock off. LOL. What do ya think??

Imperial Godzilla - Mego Talk (http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=33156&highlight=Godzilla)
I have one that is very similar. I don't know if that thread ever determined who made him, but there were a lot of them made, with plenty of variations.

I don't know if I am gonna keep him or sell him. I just loved him when I saw him. Not normally the thing I collect tho. I would love to know more about him before I decide though.

Will do! I will give ya first option. I honestly don't know anything about it (value or who made it). I do like him, but just need more MEGOs. LOL. If you have some stuff on my trade list, hit me up with an offer.

these big guys first appeared in the mid 80's shortly/around the release for the film Godzilla 1985. At that time the one you have pictured and a similar designed one were it (the other had more of a smoother godzilla head). Since that time BOTH have been re-booted and are still made to this day. Countless variations exist for both of them, and more than just the toy color (though the one you have is among the first wave appearance). One example is the one you have but made of model type hard plastic, other versions had wrist that could swivel, etc. I can up some pics of both of them and variations if you want.
Either way he was a super cool monster dino and I would pick him up.
To my knowledge none of them really ever had any sort of company markings on them, because they were total boots to begin with
price wise they still go for roughly $15-30$ but no more than that

Bah. If he is only worth $30 I will keep him. If I coulda traded him for a Mego I needed, I woulda. But he is too cool to let go so cheap. LOL Thanks for the info

Stupid Tarzan, bringing a knife to a radioactive giant monster fight. :)
I never saw Godzilla 1985, but was Goji missing dorsal fins like this figure is? Don't think I've ever seen a Goji figure without them (including boots).
