Derek (toro) have horrible news, he wanted me to tell you

My friend Derek (aka toro) from old Mego Museum forum and he joined in my Native American Community forum in Dec 2005, he posted in my General Board, he wanted me to let you know about him and his wife having health problems.......



its been awhile and i have horrible news

hey guys its been awhile since i have been here,but i need your prayers more than ever now.a few weeks ago i found out my 41 year old wife has lung cancer that has spread to her spine pelvis and brain.she is in stage 4.without treatment they give her 3 to 6 months to live with treatment they are giving her 3 years.we have 3 boys that are 20,10,and a 3 year old.it seems like when it rains it pours,i am going blind now my wife has cancer.we do believe in Jesus and that is where we have been turning for faith and hope.and Pat if you get a chance could you tell the guys on the megomuseum forum i cant get into the new one and havent been there in forever.i have sold my collection since we dont have insurance,but we have appplied for finacial help and i am sure we will be ok.i just want my wife to be ok our kids need there mom.i just wanted to ask all of you guys to keep us in your prayers we need all we can get.

That is tragic. He has managed difficult times since I have known him, and his wife is a charming lady who has a heart of gold. She contacted me about some things she wanted to do for Derek, and this is very upsetting to hear for me.

i finally made it to the board,i want to thank all of you guys for the kind words.its amazing how one word can turn your whole world upside down.we know its going to be along hard road ahead of us but i hope we can stay positive and keep up hope.i really wanted to let you guys know what was going on because i truly consider you guys friends even though i havent been around in awhile.i sold off most of my collection exept for the ones that were gifts or custom made for me.hopefully i will be able to start collecting again in time,i have still come to the boards and checked out what was new and look at the customs that you guys have made.i am sure i will be popping in and out because i will always need somewhere to come and vent.thank you guys so much i let my wife read these post and it brings tears to her eyes ,it really means so much
