    Mobile Suport Unit

As much as I adore all thing Mego, I have to admit that the GI Joe Mobile Support unit may indeed be the finest toy vehicle ever made. It honestly looks as if it's from some Gerry Anderson TV show that never made it to air.

I've owned this piece more than once, the hard reality of it's size (IT BIG!) has forced me to sell on both occasions. I am also not deluded enough to say there won't be a third time....

It is a big toy but scale wise, it's hardly the size of a minivan...the cab of the car is like a smart car...

I remember that. I had one of those. Some day I may get another one. I am not really into the 12" Joes collector wise though. I do still have some of my originals from when I was a kid.

At first I read the title and thought that maybe this was going to be for the Ready Ranger field pack. I had those as well. My parents sold them retail so it was a given.

Too much space. Need more toys!

When I read the thread title I thought it was a Fashion Accessory instead. So relieved it's a toy!

That looks cool, but like most 12" scale vehicles, it looks like it'd fit Megos better.

Didn't it have metal parts too? I remember it being very heavy. It's a super cool piece.

                  Thx for posting!

Interesting point. I wonder how that would look?

If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Back in the day.. I had JUST received the AT Headquarters for Christmas '72, and was enjoying it, even though I had no vehicles and only two guys with some tiny MMM jetpacks to get around in.

THEN THIS had to come out, seeing all the commercials on TV, yada, yada, yada.

I know my parents didn't have much money, but I.. was.. peeved.

Finally getting one back in the '90s was awesome. Nothing battery-related works on it, but it's still pretty awesome to have displayed.
                    Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

This is an awesome toy. My plan is to bring mine out of storage and to megomeet this year to finally sell.
