    Wedding Jitters

Note to toy manufacturers, when producing "Beautiful Bride" type dolls, try not to make their faces so "Twilight Zone creepy" perhaps keep them more at a "Night Gallery" level....

That's Tressy and Cricket, Crissy family dolls. For those not in the know, they were the famous grow-hair dolls of the early 70s. I always thought Crissy and Velvet were much prettier. I have 3 Crissys and 1 Velvet in my toyroom.

      Thx for the info, HardyGirl.

Even the coloring of the advertisment has that Night Gallery look to it. Damn, now I want to watch the Night Gallery.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

The Crissys were nicely made toys and very popular in their day.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Never mind runaway bride. I think it'll be runaway groom.
