Degraying female heads?

i read the tutorial on degreying heads, however it doesn't mention doing this to the female heads. will this ruin thier hair? is it possible at all to do this leaving thier hair on?

It's not easy to do on female heads. I did a decent job on my Invisible Woman, but it was a little scary. I wrapped her hair in foil, used masking tape as close to the hairline as I could get, and then put a coating of vaseline on any remaining hair that showed. I also poured the PlastiDip onto the head over a trash can, trying to allow as thin a "stream" as I could manage.
I had tried brushing the Plasti-Dip onto the vinyl, but it didn't work very well, and ruined the brush. Maybe someone else has a way of applying it with more control than dunking the head like in the tutorial.
Also, keep in mind that degrayed heads often return to their zombie state after some time.
