Banana Splits is what I thought and is the reason I bought it! Haha.

No date. It has the Marx logo on his side and under is says Loius and Marx Japan.

I listed him on eBay as an auction, as I had no idea what to price him at. Hopefully he'll do well, as he seems pretty rare.
