Ex-heavyweight champ Joe Frazier has liver cancer

Horrible news! Will be a tough battle for old Joe. He gave us great fights! Fight on champ.

Man...what a bummer...once cancer starts up (or spreads) on to the liver...that's it (like my father)...very sad...Smokin' Joe is a true legend...they don't make boxers like him anymore.

Damn...poor dude...he's already under hospice care...I'm afraid his days are numbered.

I was real sad to hear about this today. I met Joe about two years ago with my father at a charity function. We talked at length and I couldn't believe how nice a man he was to every single person he spoke to. A true classy guy.

And as a boxer, he was one of the toughest guys ever. The true meaning of what "champion" means.

Hang in there Smokin' Joe.....our prayers are with you.
