Okay guys. Decided to ask here. I'm in hopes someone might be able to identify a toy I had when I was kid.
Must have been 1980 when my grandmother (RIP) brought me a large Tyrannosaur figure from Chicago. The thing was somewhat about 18 inches tall (if my memory doesn't fail!) and was made of some combination of rubber and/or foam. I remember it had some sort of big belt that was made of hard plastic (the dinosaur itself was dark green). The interesting thing was that it was not a small toy, but you could step over it, move some knob on that belt and the thing will stay compressed inside the belt, and looking like a tambourine or something like that. It was practical so you could carry that big toy anywhere.
Well, my memories are a bit faded. Never seen a thing like that toy anywhere and anymore. Was wondering if someone in the States remembers it. I have been checking the internet but can't find anything.
Anybody in the know? Thank you guys for you help. You all have a good Wednesday!
