4th Anniversary

Yesterday marked the 4th anniversary of TwoMorrows' publication of Mego 8" Super-Heroes: World's Greatest Toys! It was originally published on October 25, 2007 and remains out-of-print.

Four years! It's hard to believe that much time has passed.

Thanks to everyone on the MM Boards, who helped make the book a reality.

Four years? Holy crap, time goes fast! And I still remember like it was yesterday getting that really cool oversized promo postcard that you mailed out to early subscribers of your book's promotional website, and that was May 2006! At that point I so couldn't wait for the book to come out.

Anyway, your book still holds a very special place on my bookshelf. And yeah, when's the next one? ;) I remember you mentioning something about a Jumbo Machinder book? :)

The Machinder book is… ahem… on the shelf, but not out of the question.

Now that the book is sold out, I wouldn't mind doing a 2nd Edition with updates and corrections. Still don't think a brand new Mego book is likely to happen, but there have been discussions about giving the 'World's Greatest Toys treatment' to two different toy lines – Kenner's Super Powers Collection and Batman: The Animated Series – as well as one detailing the work of sculptor Randy Bowen. It's all up in the air…

Chris i think you can find them on Amazon. Or every once in a while someone will offer one in the marketplace. But it's hard to find second hand cause not many are willing to give it up.

Amazingly, there's a vendor called DailyDeal UK who are selling a copy of the book on Amazon UK for £343.21.... that's about $ 531! :googly:
