I'm convinced most 70s pattern shirts were made in the same factory as all of the couches and chairs of that era. You could wear one of those shirts and disappear at a family function! Camoflauge!

My family was all gathered at my Grandmother's house after a funeral in 1977 and one of my Uncle's friends came by wearing a trendy suit. I suppose it was in style at the time.

My Uncle said, "Good Lord, whose couch did you skin to get that suit? I don't know whether to shake your hand or throw you down and sit on you.".

Somewhere I have a shot of me in a classic kid leisure suit. I was a stud!

some kids around campus here still wear shirts like that, and think they are very cool for doing so.

Too funny! My class had a disco party 2 weeks ago, and one of my kids had on his grandpa's 70's shirt. I personally love any 70's clothes.
