There's nothing better than being in a room with folks who love all the same stuff you love.
Just for a point of accuracy for the gentleman on the podcast describing the cards... the Mego Museum cards came out first. I believe there is an old blog post where MegoScott describes Palitoy's initial brainstorm and opportunity that came up with the printer, and MegoScott designs them all. Plaid Stallions cards came later and they are designed by Palitoy (who also does the Azrak Monsters and Lincoln Monster cards).

Out of similar love, various other MM members have done their own cards and series as well.

The upcoming Cast-a-Way Toys Flash Gordon Buster Crabbe figure shown at Mego Meet was 8" in scale, same as their Phantom, Creepy Classics, and other figures. (not 9" like the Mego Flash Gordon, Doctor Who, Logan's Run and Maxx FX).
