Has anyone ever done a bow tie?

I need a bow tie for a Mego figure. Has anyone ever made one? CTVT did a black bow tie for their tuxedo but I need different colored ones. Barbie's Ken bow ties are a little too large.

Thoughts? Ideas?

I used black electrical tape to make one for my Shatner in tux get-up.

Just fold a piece of ribbon and wrap a smaller piece around the middle. If you need it to wrap around the neck, put another piece, long enough to fit around the neck, through the loop created by the smaller piece and secure in the back.
