    Lou:

You are indeed lucky to have such a figure. When I first saw it there was something that felt familiar about it, but I have indeed never seen it.

I feel a little like this with my Captain Eagle figure (though they're a bit more common, and their origins are fairly well documented). For me, Captain Eagle was a great find, as the "in-the-wild" toy dealer/junk store owner I got him from did not know what he was.

Once again, congrats and thanks for sharing via the web!

That's an interesting website. I had a Captain Eagle once, but he had to be sacrificed to save AJ and Cornelius.

Big Bill is cool. We need to figure out where that Catalog number is from to get more info. Looks like he was an exclusive for somebody.

          Ever hear of Big Red?

Some people have mentioned to me they had this guy as a kid.

I wonder if he was made By empire toys, Because that jeep looks like one of the empire models.

I have that Jeep - it's Empire. I would think that would make Big Red a big dued, 12".

I had that jeep in a different color though. I think it was green. The wheels were definately the same. One broke off and then it was sent to the trash heap by my mom.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Big Red is Joe Sized (12" or so)... Jason had the vinyl carry case a few years back (he may still have it).

Big Bill is news to me though... nice find Loucy...

LJN made the clothes and the Training tower --- I had all that stuff one Christmas as part of my mom's Mr. Action knock-off Christmas Blitz of '72 or '73. I actually have a Mr. Action Jungle station (cardboard) that I thought of having scaled down and printed on card-stock. Mr. Action's head is slated to be shrunk this year.

Big Red is on my list of 12" KO's that I have to have.
Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.
