I really don't mind this figure, I kind of want one.

I only want the flames for a custom figure.

Does anyone make a 9" Dale Earnhardt?

Does anyone make a 9" Dale Earnhardt?

Hasbro MAY have made an Earnhardt using the same body style as the DC and Marvel 9" figures. I know they made several NASCAR drivers, including Jeff Gordon back in the late 90s.

But that is so WRONG Ant.

^^^ They did, but they were very htf. Dale would have made a good Commsioner Gordon custom. I never saw one in person.

I actually prefer the Mego version.

Can somebody please send some of the sculpting work done by the people on this site to Hasbro. Their head sculpts simply suck. Does the Human Torch not know about static cling? Look at his hair! He looks like a chia pet! Somebody send a link from the customs page to them so they can see what quality really is. They have really missed a bunch of them. The Sandman was nice, but Cyclops was crappy, right down to the uniform. All of the original 5 or 6 figures were nice, but they really missed the mark with a couple of the recent ones, especially these two from the FF. If they added a Jessica Alba Invisible Woman and an Icons 12" Thing figure this could have been a really nice 4 piece set to have. If Hasbro would hire some toy fanatics for ideas they could really put out some stuff that would amaze not only the public but toy collectors in general.

Were these figures cancelled or are they still due some time?

^^^ I dunno, since there are boxed examples being shown, it looks like they got pretty far in development. Maybe they will roll out at Target this spring.

It really a shame that this line still is not going strong. You can pick these up now on Ebay for dirt cheap. & Have been MIA from my Stores up here for quite sometime.. Hasbro's site still has them, for full price, however I think they will be clearancing them soon. It Blows, that Kids didn't get into these.. & Walmarts still have piles of Spiderman3 , The Blob series legends as well as F42 toys that don't seem to be moving. It's kinda sad.

^^^ Yeah, I think the action figure may be on its way out. My TRU still has piles of series two of the Sig Series at 9.98. I'm waiting for the markdown. :)

Hence, the question: Will Hasbro ever release the ML 9 inch FF Mr. Fantastic and Human Torch given the fact of the signature series line poor sales?

Well, if they are already made, they are going to have to dump them somewhere. I'm pulling for Big Lots or KB.
