Question About Changing Buck's Hands

This may sound stupid so please forgive me. I was wondering how to go about switching hands on the Buck Rogers figure. Do the hands on the figure simply pull out and the new ones pushed into place? Also, can the head be removed from the body like MEGO figures?

Yes to both. Just be sure to apply some heat to the hands before attempting to pull them out.
