Hi
Picked up a MEGO STAR TREK MISSION TO GAMMA VI PLAYSET last weekend will be uploaded pics by wed night. looking to sell it here instead of the bay. Looks like it is missing 1 alien and the instruction sheet. Still need to pull it all out of the box for pics so I will know better after that. Anyone interested let me know. Will price it once I get the pics up.

Speaking from experience...
It's going to be awfully hard to sell that item here with just one post under your belt.
Just a friendly heads up.

Maybe, unless you're asking like 25 bucks or so for it!

Ha, yes. A lot of us are looking for one, I know I am, but you might have better luck going through ebay since no one here has had the chance to get to know you yet.

Gee Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am not a Mego collector and had I not found this piece I would not have wasted my time registering here to make the post. I figured this is where all the serious collectors are and might want this piece not to rip one of you off. Will be posting the pic wed night , had some replies so am hopeful it will find a buyer.

Hey there, tiki, good luck with the sale. You wouldn't know that there is a steady stream of new users throughout the years who come by and "have something to sell," and some of them have been un-cool. So, that's the unfortunate frame of reference that all new users enter into when the marketplace is the first stop.
Of course, there is always a good chance that you, and others like you, are fine upstanding citizens, and you can count on the folks here to treat you in kind when that "good vibe" starts flowing.
You are indeed welcome here and we look forward to seeing the photos of one of the greatest playsets MEGO ever made.
What's the story in how you found it? Collectors love a ripping yarn!
:-)
All the best,
Bryan

Here the pics of the playset. looks like it is missing 1 figure and the instruction sheet. Box is in rough shape and the cardboard inserts show wear. $300 plus shipping.

It looks like you really did pick up quite a score - Cool!
Thank you for posting photos and welcome to the Mego Museum Forums!
Despite what probably seems like an unfriendly welcome,
there really are a bunch of great guys and gals hanging out here...
and this is indeed where a large number of the serious Mego collectors can be found.
As nayrbjo has already mentioned, those of us who've been here a while
have seen a few bad apples and their unpleasant shenanigans over the years.
Unfortunately, they have left marks on our memories and made most of us a
bit more cautious when dealing with anyone that we don't know...particularly with the more expensive items.
Hopefully you will find a new home for your awesome Gamma VI playset and
one lucky Mego Museum member will add a very cool piece to his or her collection.
Best of luck!

Welcome!!
If someone buys the playset I have an extra little yellow guy - that this is missing (send me a PM). I realize that the box is not great - but I would sure like to upgrade mine - but I just cannot bring myself to buy it just for the box (especially since it is not really in the best condition). :)

Congratulations on the sale. As you have already read, the museum is a really great place for collectors to hang out and talk shop. However, a few bad apples have spoiled the bunch for many new users posting straight in the marketplace for their first stop.
Let me just say welcome and throw out a piece of advice. You brought a hard to find item to the board and sold it for a fair price. Dropping the name of who purchased the item and letting everyone know when the sale is complete (money received and product shipped) goes a long way towards establishing good will in the marketplace. The more people get to know you the more they are likely to jump on your sales threads even if selling items is all you do in the museum.
Thanks for posting such a cool item, and hopefully we will see more from you.
