I'm trying to install some 3-d cad software and I'm getting this error.

Error while initializing the graphics subsystem. The graphics driver isn't configured for true color, their was a problem installing the application, or some other problem with the graphics hardware and drivers of the configuration of the application.

Anybody have any idea how to fix this? I've tried contacting the software company, but they haven't got back with me yet.

Is there a graphics utility on your board installation disk? Or maybe with your video card? Right now it sounds like it doesn't think it can display stuff on your monitor.

I'll see if I have the disks and check that out first.

What resolution and color depth is your display set for? Sounds like a problem with your graphics card... does it meet the minimum standard for the software?
