As far as I know, Bandai has never made Microman figures...Microman-like figures, maybe.

These are definitely Takara Microman figures, not Bandai. I saw them at my local Five and Below for $4 each. I can't remember the number on the package, but they were regular, non-licensed character Microman figures in a wide blister with a small vehicle (or wings or something).

It's a chain store that sells everything for $5 or less. It's like a dollar store, but it's aimed more towards young people.

Wow, I'd pick up some Microman figures (and yes, they are made by Takara not Bandai) for four bucks each. I never heard of that store chain though. I wonder if they will pop up anywhere else?

Sorry about the incorrect company name. I was in a hurry when I saw them.

No prob, those are the two big Japanese toy companies, easy to get them mixed up. Were there different figures available, or just one kind? (or perhaps just one style in various colours?)

I think there were at least 2 different kinds. If I get a chance I will trry to swing by and get more info.

No stores in my neck of the woods. That's a shame. I love Microman.

Same here! I love Microman and have had dreams in which I'm in a store with wall to wall Microman toys.

This store sounds awefully close to that, too bad I don't know of any locally. :(

My Guess is that the person is thinking of the Kronoforms toys which were issued in USA and Europe under a variety of different names. They were actually made by Takara, but did not look a lot like Micronaut vehicles.
I got a Blue and black pharoid with my Invacepton vehicle.
                          Cheers,
