Hey,
Called home yesterday (as I have done for the last three weeks), and asked if I had any packages. Turns out I did. Where is it from? Not sure, but it is Media Mail.
Oh, the Gods have finally smiled upon me.
Long day, of course, but getting home was worth it. Sitting on my desk was this plain wonderful box:

Be still my heart and hand. Carefully cut the tape and opened the box:

Gotta love bubble wrap. Protects and distort just enough to keep you guessing. However, must keep going:

I know it is in there somewhere:

Finally!! Bound in a cellophane wrapper, the Collector's Edition of the book of the year!!

Reverently paged throught the extra items that comes with the book. Had a very pleasant suprise when I opened the letter:

Somehow I ended up with number 3 of the 125. Don't know if it was random or if Imp deeded me worthy of a low number, but it just capped off one of the best packages I have received in a long long time.
Unfortunately, with the kids and chores, I haven't been able to do much more than open the book, smell the newness, and try not to drool over the layout and gobs of information. However, I have set aside a couple of hours tonight to start diving in.
Ben, you have pulled off a remarkable feat. Take a bow and go and sleep for a couple of years. This Bud's for you.
