    Kresge, what's the cheapest?

    Hey guys,

I would like to know what is the cheapest Kresge MOC mego that I can get in good condition? I would love to have just one Kresge in my collection just to show the variants of the mego packaging.
I am guessing spiderman would be but I could be wrong.
which is the cheapest and how much do they go for?

It all depends on what Kresge's you are interested in. WGSH Kresges are the most expensive...but for about 50 - 100 you could probably get some of the Western Kresge figures. Don't know if that answers your question.

I can tell you for a fact that spiderman won't be the cheapest He may be the most common loose figure, but he is TOUGH to find on a Kresge card for a decent price.

The last one on eBay went for over $1000

Roberto is right on the American West, the WGSH side of things I'd say Tarzan or Penguin.

I recently sold a Kresge Penguin for $200.00 The condition of the card was rough. My Kresge Tarzan cost me around $500.00.
              Hope that helps.

yes it does. I figured 200-500 is what they would be, I will be sure to add a Kresge Penguin to my collection.
thanks for all the help guys.

A Kresge Penguin languished on Ebay not too long ago but I offer this one piece of advice, don't be afraid to go after any Kresge you see.

Too many times in the last five years I've given up and thought "it'll go too high" only to be completely aggrevated by the outcome being something I could easily afford. I'm talking Batman and Robin here!

Here is a great example of an affordable A List character Kresge card.

of course the condition will be a major factor but ive bought a few for $100-$200 each, not mint & couple were resealed but still fantastic to look at & very rare my Mr Myx, Penguin, Riddler, Tarzan, Batgirl & just got catwoman I found them all for around this range.

There are some fantastric ones Vinny has for sale on ebay right now for the other end of condition spectrum- see his post under auctions

                          reseals are just filth.
I don't think I'll waste my money on reseals but it is nice to know that some where in the ever expanding universe that there exist Kresge's that are less than $1000.
thanks again for the help guys.

I agree, that was a little harsh.
