Up for sale is a 1981 Mego Pocket Super Heroes Batmobile mint/never removed from box.

This is a very tough Mego Pocket Super Heroes Batmobile with poseable Batman and Robin. The contents have never been played with and appear to have never been removed from the box. The figures are still twist tied to the insert.

The box has several spots of mild shelf wear. I have included several pics of all sides for you to examine for yourself. The cello window is free of tears and is still perfectly attached to the box. Of course this is a subjective thing, so if you have specific questions, please ask.

Despite the shelf wear, this is still a good overall example of a very rare and desirable Mego piece.

This is a vintage set of three action figures in the POCKET SUPER HEROES action figure line -- INCREDIBLE HULK ..... SPIDER-MAN ..... CAPTAIN AMERICA. These figures were part of a series of Mego toys released during the late 1970s and early 1980s. These action figures were likely part of some sort of mail-away offer, or perhaps a special catalog offering for Sears or some other retailer. The figures came sealed together inside a clear plastic bag, which was enclosed in a plain corrugated cardboard box. The following is marked on the box: J94015/2 ... 928-2773. The three figures are complete, with Captain America's shield included. These toys were based on characters created by Marvel comics. The posable figures each stand approximately 3.75 inches tall. They were made in Hong Kong, for Mego Toys. Hulk and Spiderman are copyrighted in 1975, while Captain America was copyrighted 1980 -- all by the Marvel Comics Group. The original box measures approximately 4x4.75x1 inches. The box was sealed with two pieces of brown plastic tape, but this tape has dried with age and has discolored the cardboard where it was affixed. Otherwise, the box is in excellent shape. The three figures themselves had never been taken out of the bag, until I removed them to photograph them. As usual for these figures, there is some oily residue on the legs of all figures -- likely for some mild secretion from the plastic -- but this could easily be cleaned off to be like new. Otherwise, the figures have never been played with, and they are all crisp, clean and in unused condition.

Mego Spidercar and MOC pocket hero lot!

Super rare Spider Car Boxed Set, this packaging is an early transition piece. Even though the set clearly states "Pocket Heroes" early versions feature Comic Action heroes instead. Mego later on retooled this packaging by placing the figures in the box itself (the flap was heavy and easily damaged) and by switching Gobby with Hulk. This example has spider-man and the hulk inside the bubble but the bubble was re-attached and the figures could be replacements for the originals. The figures in the bubble are mint and not played with so I could be wrong. The box shows signs of wear and a new piece of tape holding the flap shut which leads me to believe it was opened at some point but contents replaced and unplayed with. A very rare and beautiful piece for any pocket hero collector.

We also have some rare carded figures. Batman, Spider-man, Hulk, Jor-el and Superman. Red cards are thought to be the earliest release in the Pocket Heroes line. Please look closely at pics for condition on the spidercar and carded figures.

It was probably some of the last Superhero merchandising released by MEGO.

Up for auction is an original Mego Pocket Superheroes Batman on the original rarer white card.
In years of collecting these, Batman is actually the rarest figure in this card series, very few seem to pop up.
Item is clearly sealed to the card, colours are bright but the card is slightly warped. You could probably straighten it out by using gentle pressure but I'll leave that up to you.

1980 Mego Batman Batcave and Box Comic Action Pocket Heroes Playset

Up for auction is a boxed 1980 Mego Batman Batcave Playset designed for the 1979-1980 Mego Pocket Heroes series (also to scale with Mego's Comic Action series). Batcave is not complete - but pretty dang close. It is missing some stickers, the Batpole and one of the computer banks. The Batmobile entrance and cell door are present and accounted for. Some of the stickers have come loose, as shown in the photos. The jail cell features wall graffiti stickers from Catwoman, Joker, etc. Playset does not have any cracks and is in nice shape. The box is in good shape with age appropriate wear. It sill has the original $5.97 price tag on it. The box is not faded but does have some creasing as shown in the photos. There is some blue ink pen scribbles on back of box (as shown). This is a very hard-to-find playset from the twilight days of Mego. Thanks for looking and good luck! Up for auction is an 3-3/4" Hulk from the Worlds Greatest Superheroes Pocket Heroes line. Hulk comes sealed on a unpunched near mint US blue jean pocket heroes card dated 1979. The Incredible Hulk is in mint unused condition and has never been removed from the factory sealed card. The card and bubble look like it was pulled from a sealed case yesterday and as close to mint as they come and would be nearly impossible to upgrade after this. The bubble is firmly sealed on all sides, is crystal cleaer without any cracks, splits, dents or holes. The card has amazing vibrant colors without any tears or rips. The card is super flat, without any edge wear with crisp flat corners. The biggest thing worth mentioning is someone wrote "1.15" on the back in pencil. I have not tried to erase it, but will leave that to you. Not much to describe except the card is as close to mint as you will ever find and perfect for the pickiest of collectors. The numerous large pictures leave little for interpretation. Item is sold as is, so please ask questions before bidding and before the auction ends. Superman is in mint unused condition and has never been removed from the factory sealed card. The bubble is firmly sealed on all sides, has nice clear color, does not have any cracks, splits, or holes. There are some dents in the bottom left corner of the bubble that can be seen in the pic, but difficult to notice when on display. The card has nice colors without any tears or rips. The card does have some edge and corner wear with some creasing in the bottom right corner of the card and back of the card. There is some water staining that can be seen on the front, but is more visible on the back. The card is not mint, but displays very nice for a late scarcer variation.

Mego/Grand Toys 1979 HULK Pocket Heroes on DENIM CARD! Here is an item that you don't see every day! Please click on all of the pics, as they are huge and will show you everything you need to know about the condition. In some of the pics, the bubble has a more yellow-ish tone, but this is some kind of error in the pics. The pics that show the bubble looking lighter/clearer is the ACTUAL look of the bubble. As you can see in one of the pics, the bubble has detached from the backer card on all sides except the left, which does a good job of keeping the bubble still secured to the card. When the bubble is laying flat (not being pried away by hand) it still looks pretty good and is very displayable. Any questions? Please ask them before you bid. Thank you!
