You are bidding on a 1971 Mego World's ACTION JACKSON figure. . .MINT in BOX! This boxed action hero is simply the finest boxed Mego in my collection and everything about it is just about perfect! Even though it's over 40 years old, it looks like it was just picked up from the toy store! Even has the stick-on tattoos inside the box! The box has nice sharp corners and edges and perfect cellophane! There aren't even any creases except for a tiny one on the back of the box near the top flap!

The Lost Continent Playset Action Jackson Adv Mego 1974
1st edition. they later changed the print on the box saying "scaled for the Planet of the Apes"

in excellent condition. With box
according to the box this is missing
flip top weapons bench
part of the stand for the telescope
and the Idol Head. (includes bottom piece, plastic stick, for Idol Head)
some of the cross parts that act as stands for some of the characters are missing. (see all following photos)
box has a photo of a cardboard pterodactyl, there is not one in this set
T-Rex is bent and so is the tree.
slightly crumpled corner on part of the set.
Thats all the bad stuff. everything else is near mint. no fading to any piece

and I did go over board with the pics but this set is awesome!

This figure was taken straight from a factory sealed case by me. This is the blond, white beardless version in dark blue. The box is in beautiful condition, but does have a couple of minor case stress lines. The cello is perfect. It is a truly case fresh example.



Having seen what the case assortment looks like, I can tell you that the blond figures were packed at a far lower rate than the brown haired versions making them much more rare.
