This is a very good/excellent ORIGINALLY SEALED example of this very hard to find UK only 2nd version card.

The ape is mint and untouched and is still factory sealed. The front of the bubble is superb and undamaged, however there is a 3 inch or so curved split on the right side which can be seen on the photo. The card is unpunched. The card is very clean and has no graffiti or stains anywhere. It has a little bowing as you can see, with a very small crease top right (see photo 3). There are also two tiny nicks to the edge of the right side (see photo 4).

I have tried to be as precise as I can but will answer any questions. A sensible BIN will be considered.

You are bidding on an unused vintage Mego POTA ASTRONAUT. He is original from 30+ years ago and still MOC and new. This is a five back first release figure with a type one body. The only human available with initial assortment and the most desired by collectors. He is complete sealed and untouched. I've never seen an Astronaut with such a vibrant blue outfit, normally they are faded or mismatched even when sealed. This is a very rare item in any condition let alone MOC and unpunched. The package is in fair condition with some storage wear and price sticker litho tears as seen in the photos but overall looks amazing and would probably look new if placed in an acrylic case. The figure is new and untouched and factory mint with no breaks or cracks in the bubble. This item is in unused and undisplayed condition and remains crisp as well as bright.

Up for auction is my personal MEGO - Planet of the Apes Fortress Play Set. The set itself is in great condition with the original box & Receipt. The box, while still sturdy, has a bit of damage. I am guessing I was a little excited when I was opening it back in 1975. Set is about 98% complete and is missing one control stick and the reflector’s silver has fallen off the stand, but is one piece. Please see pictures for further clarification.

All the parts are in good shape. For the pictures I didn’t put the set together as I didn’t want to risk damaging anything.

This just came in on a collection I bought, A VERY nice RARE set of the PALITOY Planet of the apes 1974 dolls from England. Set includes Soldier ape,Ursus,Urko,Zaius,Galen. all C7 to C8 condition and all unpunched. The Soldier ape has a slight bend in top right corner of the card. URSUS has a slight bend in the bottom of the card below his right foot, URKO has a dent in the bubble by his face and right boot and slight bending in the card,ZAIUS has a small scrap in back of card on bottom and bubble as a little lifting between his feet which is normal for age,GALEN has a little lifting between his feet also and a little bending in card on bottom right side by his foot. Up for your purchasing pleasure we have a very rare vintage MEGO, Planet of the Apes Dr. Zaius. This Dr. Zaius comes from the 1974 release of the Planet of the Apes line. Dr. Zaius is un-punched and on the Palitoy-bradgate card. The card is in very good condition, the front is very clean and in excellent condition the front has no creasing of the card. The bubble is in very good condition and has very small ding in the left upper portion of the bubble and as crease on the lower right of the bubble. The back is in fantastic condition and has a little to no shelf wear. The toy comes from a personal collection that was kept in a very clean, pet, and smoke free environment. Other than the mentioned very minor flaws this collector’s item is in extremely good condition.

Hello- Welcome!- Here we have a vintage "Mego" figure from their "Planet Of The Apes" line of figures and toys, produced back in the early through late 1970's. This one is of the "General Ursus (Green Card)". The figure is in mint/unused condition, though the backing card does have a few creases with roughly a 3" horizontal crease on the upper portion of the card, and a 2" crease running vertically in the same near area. We tried our best to take pictures focusing on the creases, but they were hard to show-up in the photographs, but they ARE there, and want to make you aware of this! The figure is the last from a factory case we purchased many, many years ago. We consistantly sold these for $250.00-$300.00 apiece, but being the last one, and with the card creasing, we will drop an additional $50.00 off of our lowest price for this piece! Not a candidate for "AFA" grading due to the creases, but still DOES display beautifully, nonetheless!!!! A nice example of this figure to add to any serious "Mego" and/or "Apes"collection! Here is a Mego 8" Planet of the Apes Soldier Ape. He is complete. He is 100% ALL ORIGINAL vintage 1970's Mego from head to toe, guaranteed. Beautiful, mint condition, no play wear at all. Original Mego Body is tight and completely intact, no defects. This is the early issue type 1 body style. Head is clean with no wear at all, very nice. Original vintage Mego bright blue leather top has no runs, no seam splits, no holes, no stains and snaps intact on back. Brown sleeves minty clean with no defects. A premium quality vintage top for sure, and a rare one. Original vintage Mego gloves are clean and show no signs of wear, display well as seen in the pics. Original vintage brown Mego tights are pristine/ clean, superb quality, tight waist elastic, perfect. Original vintage Mego black boots are clean with no splits or dents, perfect. Original vintage Mego black rifle is also perfect, has the original string well attached, very nice. Original vintage Mego bandolier is in mint condition shape, fits across his chest beautifully and completes this awesome Planet of the Apes figure. The reason I say this is when it was purchased, I bought it believing it was complete. I have not put all of this together in fear of degrading its condition. Planet Of The Apes Forbidden Zone Trap Play Set made by Mego.This play set is in played with condition but was took care of. The tabs where you put it together all show wear from putting it together and taking it apart. The rest of it is in good condition. The Trap still works as it should. All 4 little brown plastic tabs that hold it together are all here. The playset comes with its original instructions and comes in its original box. This was someones Christmas present in 1975. The bad, the play set is missing one shudder that goes on the upstairs window. Look at the picture, there is only one. One hinge on the trap door is broken, the broken piece is included, it is very small and not very noticeable. Look at the pictures, any questions feel free to ask.

Bend 'n Flex Mego PLANET OF THE APES Soldier Ape
This is one of a range of flexible 5 inch figures that was produced by Mego during the hey day of the original Planet of the Apes films.
The figure is in mint condition and has never been removed from its packaging. The card itself is in very good shape with no tears or graffitti. There is a little minor creasing and a couple of corner dents. The plastic bubble is in very good shape with no cracks. Just a slight scratch which is visible around the right arm of the figure. Overall this has survived the years very well. The colours are still as bright as the day they were printed. The card depicts other figures from the series on both front and back.
All in all a great opportunity to pick up an original, mint mego figure from the early 1970s.

This is the Original 1967 JC Penny Catalog issue, Original price $13.84, the unit is labeled 1967 Apjac Productions along with the Mego makers mark.

The Original Plain J.C. Penny Catalog Dept Box is included with the spacer insert.

The M-16 Rifle bag is sealed and filled with the 3 Rifles and straps in Mint condition.

The Crossbow table and all the pieces are sealed in the original bag. Mint and complete.

The 3 Control Sticks are in original bag too, this bag is open. They are Mint also.

The Original Instructions are included and in great shape. No stains or rips.

The Cage and backdrop are included and in great shape.

The brown large table has never been folded for assembly, still flat and uncreased.

The Capture Net and Wood Pole are in great shape, looks unused also.

The Original World's Greatest Super Heroes mini brochure promotional pamphlet is included and in Great Shape too!

1975 Mego Bradgate Planet of the Apes ZIRA 8 inch figure released in the UK.Before the Mego Apes were released in the UK on the colourful Palitoy cards, the were released on these impossible to find Bradgate cards.
The card is a different shade of pink than the US release.The graphics on the back are completely different.The card and bubble are in great condition with some wear as seen in the pictures. The bubble is factory sealed to the card and has never been opened. Figure is mint later edition of Zira without the inner sleeves.

This is one of a range of flexible 5 inch figures that was produced by Mego during the hey day of the original Planet of the Apes films. Apparently it was going to cost too much for the rights to use the Charlton Heston character Taylor, so Mego just produced this generic "astronaut" instead. It is quite poetic that this figure has been entombed under plastic for many years, not unlike his movie counterpart en route to the Planet of the Apes!
The figure is in absolutely mint condition and has never been removed from its packaging. The card is in very good shape with no tears or graffitti. There is a small price sticker mark on the card, a little minor warping and a couple of corner dents. The plastic bubble is in very good shape, is fully attached to the card backing and just has a little crushing around the left foot and a couple of very slight marks. The card depicts other figures from the series on both front and back.
