I know it's Booster's book, but my boy hasn't made it on many covers in the last 22 years.

I was really partial to Earth 2 Robin as a kid and I used to love the issues of Batman Family when readers would submit more grown up costumes for regular Robin.

I was really partial to Earth 2 Robin as a kid and I used to love the issues of Batman Family when readers would submit more grown up costumes for regular Robin.

There was an issue of Batman Family (or maybe it was Detective after it absorbed the BF title) where Robin actually wore 3 costumes sent in by readers. One of them was actually pretty cool!

I think DC must have really been toying with changing his costume at the time, but the all-mighty licensing dollar probably kept them from it.

The Earth Two Robin costume was first worn by the Earth One Dick Grayson in an issue of Justice League. E2 Robin gives it to E1 Dick after his normal costume is shredded. E2 says it was designed by a designer friend of his...Neal Adams!!! Of course later E2 Robin ditched his Batmanesque costume for a variation on the above mentioned suit.

And to bring it all back to modern comics, Neal Adams also designed Tim Drake's costume that he wore until very recently.

Phew!
