How do you pose your Mego then?

    Hello everyone,

I have had my Mego stuff on display for so long but never really stopped and looked at how boring some of it looks. No, of course its not the Mego itself but how I position my things. How else could I display the 8 inch Mego figures without making them just standing like statues? Does anyone have them in awesome battle poses or some trade-mark posisition?

    thanks

Sometimes I like the starkness of the 'row of soldiers' display, but usually they are in a conversational/action/etc. scenerio.

And dancing....yeah.....my girl likes to pose them that way....with a clear rubber band in the right place, Cornelius can do the pop n' lock like Boogaloo Shrimp!

The only Megos I have "posed" are my Star Trek figures, on the Enterprise. My AJs and my apes are just sorta standing there.

Somewhere between statues and the roll call-type cover shot. I'd like to do more, but you can only pose them so much before they won't fall over.

I posed em like this at my old apartment Loose Display in a horizontal DVD cabinet.

I posed Imp's like this, using doll stands

                  Scott,
those first poses are awesome. How do you keep the figures standing? Are they leaning against the back wall?

Yep, some are using the wall for help. A little elbow resting on each other here and there. I like it when they are going in different directions.

I was able to use the playsets and vehicles to give some action to my display. I've found a full out action set up never stays up long, so I kind of split the difference between "statue" and "action". I like the comic cover anaology.

I stand most of them on spice stands in my display cases, but a good amount of them find themselves hanging out around my offices, at work and home, sitting, flying, driving, or whatever strikes their fancy.

I used to have them in poses, but that takes up more shelf space. As my collection grew and the figures had to be placed tighter together, they went to the boring old lineup.
