i was going to wait until this saturday to dip into the book, but i found i couldnt wait so i started reading it already, damn that Ben! i'm up to the Super-Gals chapter and loving it. lots of detail but it reads breezily.

just from a quick overall scan, it looks like this will be THE book on the subject, period.

...off to read some more.

I'd like to add that I shipped the first batch of Collectors Editions (http://twomorrows.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=578) today. This represents most of what I prepared yesterday (and shipped this morning):

I packed up another big batch tonight, and those will go out in the morning. Very soon, other folks will be able to join Rob.

As I've said for a long time, I really believe EVERYONE who ordered the book will have it in plenty of time to consider it a Christmas present. That was my hope, and it appears to be happening.

On that note, a little birdie tells me that the primary Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/MEGO-Super-Heroes-Worlds-Greatest-Toys/dp/1893905829/) warehouse received their inventory today, and they are finally shipping, too!

well, in a bit of sleep-depriving madness, i finished it.

i kept reading, and reading, telling myself "one more chapter", "one more figure", etc. before i knew it, i hit the back cover.

i'm going to try and do a review for the aquaman shrine because of the book's high aqua-content ASAP, but for now i'd say it's a hit!
