Newbury Comics....What a Joke

I was in Boston last weekend and hit 2 Newbury Comics locations (Quincy Market and South Shore Plaza)...Worse "comic" shop I've ever been too, didn't buy a freakin' thing. In fact, "Comics" seems to be a misnomer....it should be Newbury Music.

The "New" comics section (they had no back isssues at all) was miniscule and confusing as to what exactly, if anything, had shipped that week. Like I said, didn't drop a dime...first time EVER that I've done that in a comic store. Their comic-related merchandise wasn't that impressive either.

Haven't been to the one in Boston for awhile(on Newberry Street)...but it looks like I got the best one up here in Maine. Plenty of Comics...clearly marked new releases, quite a lot of back issues(nothing real old but I don't buy old comics anymore, I have them all:grin:).
Great toy selection(got Pike & Salt Vampire). Plus I like the music part of the store. Awesome selection of CDs at decent prices.

And for having a file with them, I get 20% off all my Comics! I LOVE Newberry Comics!:heart:

I found each Newberry Comics that I've been to widely ranging from the other.
The one in Harvard Square wasn't bad.
