Second rule of Customizing: warm Water is your friend.

I was having trouble getting a rubber coat off a Sprit action figure so I tossed him in my warm bath. Came off easy.

Okay, actually I found out by accident, I just hadnt played in the bath for so long.:embarassed:

Wonder how much a Water Wars Doctor Octopus is on Ebay . . . . . .

" I aint playing! I'm CUSTOMIZING!"

Warm/hot water is a great friend when rerooting as well. Those old vinyl heads can be made much more pliable with a quick dunk before removing the original hair. It's also good for perming the hair once it's styled - some brands need different temperatures, so it's a good idea to check first.

I've seen store window displays of old peoples tubs with SWINGS! Lucky . . . . .

I wish I knew something about rerooting.
