I dunno, I think this looks Pretty cool. The Seahorse adds to the coolness IMO..., & Aquaman is King.

Is it just me or does Aquaman's profile look a bit...feminine? It's probably just how the picture was taken though. :P

Don't care for the hair, reminds me of Ken, and the hands look odd.

I agree. The seahorse and trident, and the outfit are pretty cool though.

Tonner's a girl doll maker, so their male dolls always look extremely effeminate and Ken-like. They're doing a Superman later, but I doubt I'll bother. I can't stand the cheap wig look of short rooted hair.

I think the Seahorse is really nice and the suit IMO is better than the DC Direct figure. I just can't get over the head on that guy.
The Mera is hot though! ;)

You know I don't really care much for the head sculpt on Aquaman Either,.. However It is Aquaman. But man if one could get the SeaHorse,.. & Put the DC Direct figure on it,.. that would be one cool display. It looks rather big though,, my Old Lady would kill me . How much do you think the seaHorse is 350 ?

it looks so much better in real life. to me it reminds me of a young aquaman. Is Aquaman supposed to be really buff? I don't think so and he's more muscular than Ken. I think most are used to the new figures looking like they were on steroids. The mego 8" AM isn't so buffed. I like him alot but Mera is much better. Tonners other's are ok but Mera is the best one so far.

^^^ I didn't compare the body to Ken, just the crappy rooted hair.

The Tonner dolls are about 17" so, the suit wouldn't fit a DCD 13", and the seahorse would probably be too big too. My wife has the first Wonder Woman, and she's really nice, but the men look like effeminate manikins and the masks on Batman and Batgirl look like those big thumb suckers with holes cut in them.

I've been wanting to get a Tonner Aquaman because I collect Aquaman...
But I'm confused: there're two versions? Is the seahorse a separate accessory?

When I went to the NY comic con last february, they were practically giving poor aquaman away. The tonner dolls cost well over $100, but he was about $50. Being my favorite DC hero, I came close to pulling the trigger, but just couldn’t based on the head. He is just too odd looking. Sadly, there were no seahorses in sight.

Aquaman is my favorite. I like to play with him in the bathtub. I am a delivery driver and when I get away from the shop I set up all of my Mego action figures on the dashboard. I eat my sandwhich while making them dance together to the AM radio. I have to put them away before I get back to the shop or all of the guys will bug me.

That Seahorse does in fact go for around the $350.00 mark ..... But it does look amazing .... Also the Tonner Batgirl, Batman and wonder woman figures look out of site ......... Roy
