Yeah, I watched the newest trailer this morning and it was FREAKIN' AWESOME!!:hokay: I'm going to call it now and say that Captain America is going to be the #1 Comic book movie this summer!:yes:

Yeah, I'm starting to feel more confident that Cap is going to win that race. It just looks really solid and entertaining. Seems to have the vibe of the Lee/Kirby Cap WWII tales from the 60s, which is the epitome of Cap to me.

Disney XD has been showing quite a few sneak peeks between shows, with Chris Evans himself introducing them. Disney is really starting to get behind Marvel in all ways now.

Someone PLEASE tell me WHY this is NOT coming out the 4th of July Weekend???

I more excited about seeing the Howling Commandos fighting side-by-side with Cap...hope they get more screen time then what we see in the clips. It will REALLY setup the Avengers Movie and show good of a leader Cap is with a Team behind him.

Because Paramount booked July 4th weekend for Transformers 3 eons ago, and they are also releasing Cap. It's a shame, and they really should have swapped those two movies, although I bet Michael Bay wouldn't go for it. I think all the TF movies have debuted that weekend. Remember a few years back when Will Smith had a movie that came out EVERY July 4th weekend? It's deemed the "honey hole" of summer box office returns, along with Memorial Day.

Still, it's a shame. I think the next weekend belongs to the last Harry Potter, and no one would want to compete with THAT.

Couldn't agree more...the Steve Rogers scenes really sell it. Marvel really understands that the strength of their characters are the PEOPLE, not the POWERS.
The grenade scene is what Cap is all about...THAT is why he's a hero.
