Hi this is the wife of 12.5 years of Random Axe. Who I adore. He has a wonderful personality, drop dead gorgeous and very talented.

I have been amazed at his "Custom Figures". I can say that I was surprised that more didn't like them in WV. I walk in love with his stuff as I seem them. I usually wait and see the finished product and I am simply amazed.

I feel like I know a lot of you personally. He showed me some of your pics from the Meet and your all so adorable. Chad, I loved the "Red Skull" costume so much!

One other favorite I enjoyed was the father daughter team of the "Wonder Twins'. Keep up the creative work everyone.

Your going to see much more of me on here. I am in the "learning phase" of Comics and such but I did go see XMen and Green Lantern with Random Axe "Scott", and enjoyed them both. So, I will get there. If anyone has any older comics that would bring me up to speed on what everyone''s powers are would help me a bunch. I will pay for them or return them which ever you could prefer.

I love my marriage and I want to be more involved in his hobby.

Have a wonderful evening.

Hey Sandy...welcome to the museum :smiley5:
When I went to my first meet 3 years ago Scott was the first person to welcome me and my family...I always look forward to seeing him at the meet and love to see all his cool custom's in person...he always has great advice and is always willing to help out :wink_y:

Welcome. I'm sure many had the same problem I did in WV, so much great stuff and not enough money to go around. You walk around wanting just about everything (including Scott's figures) and have to pick and choose.

Always great to see a supportive spouse. Scott is definitely among the most talented customizers around. He mentioned his character selection probably hurt his sales, and I agree unfortunately, as it is hard to pay top quality figure prices for a character you don't have as a favorite. It is not a matter of people not liking his work, his customizer table and demonstration was a highlight of the event for many. I personally won his first Custom Auction Make a Figure and he knocked it out of the park. I have never spent so much on a custom figure before, but seeing his work that first year, I knew I would be more than satisfied.

Welcome to the boards, and I look forward to hearing more from you on here.

Hi Sandy!
Welcome to the boards.
I echo everything you mentioned!!
Scott is swimming in talent; even took my son Sean under his wing to show hims stuff.
Kinda sad we only do WV once a year; but, that helps build the excitement at the same time. I'm ready for 2012 already.
Hope to see you there!

How cool is that. A member's wife joins and posts. Welcome. Sorry I missed seeing you at the meet. I did get to chat with your hubby for a bit on Thursday evening at Hoss's.

Welcome Sandy. I wish I could have spent more time and money at the meet this year. Your husband's work is phenomenal to say the least. The problem with this hobby is the same for all of us; a lack of disposable income. Anyhow, seeing a spouse wanting to become involved in this hobby is fantastic.

Welcome Sandy!!! I think Scott is awesome and his customs are off the charts as far as quality and originality. My family was at the meet we were the people next to the wonder twins, my wife likes the megos but doesn't like the time I put into them. I am glad to see the wives get into megos, it would be cool if next year have a wife only custom bash contest.

Where would that put me? I'm the Megohead in the family. Nate loves action figures but only pays attention to Megos because of me.

Put Nate in a dress, hand him $20, some paint and sculpey and crack the whip!

I really enjoyed reading today. Not much to add as of yet. Remember I am still a "newbie". I have been looking for my friend Cat but can't find her. Hmmm. Enjoy your Thursday night and have a better weekend. Scott "Random Axe" is off tomorrow so perhaps a movie and be fit in our busy day. Get out and enjoy your weekends too. They are way to short!
