Mego The World's Greatest Super Heroes WGSH Action Figure: Green Arrow

Why is the neck marked N.P.P.? I know that the N.P.P. corp./ IDEAL TOY CORP. have produced a Batman mask in the late 60's http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220171712963, but why is on the original Mego figure the neck marked with "© N.P.P. 1974"?
Did anybody have a answer for me?

Thanks a lot.

that is the other name for DC (Detective Comics), NPP stands for National Periodical Publications. That is what DC was called at the time I believe.
hope this helps.

NPP officially switched over to DC Comics around 1976 I believe (even though they've been known as DC for decades prior)
