I've tried using safety razors, but when I use them I always break out in a rash or pimples.

So, i'm left having to use an electric razor.

It works good, but it leaves me with an 80's Don Johnson stubble beard :)

What do you use ? ....

note: clean up around goatee's count.

Razors, non-electric.. Need 'em for my military stints.

Electric just didn't cut it after a while (okay, I had to throw a pun in there somewhere..)

I love growing out beards on vacation, although the wife hates 'em.

Luckily, the girlfriend loves stubble.

I tried electric shavers before but they hurt my face. I don't shave everyday but I use the Gillette Sensor razor with edge advanced gel. Afterwards I use Nivea post shave balm. It works out great for me. :beaming1:

Beard trimmer. Haven't been clean shaven for at least five years now. Take the guard off for my neck line - it's not perfectly smooth but good enough for me. The rest is done with guard on and the trim length varies depending on my mood but never less than 3mm.

Prior to that though, it was always a wet shave. Basic razors about every 3 days. Luckily not in a job where clean shaven was a necessity.

sharpened edge of a fossilized plesiosaur rib bone. It's the only way to go, really.

I hate shaving. I have super sensitive skin and no matter what I try, it always irritates me... I have no idea how some guys can shave every day. My face would be cut to ribbons, and I'm already ugly enough. I shave once a week or when I have to, with a sensor and use a half gallon of that Nivea stuff, too.

Mach 3, but I always shave coming out of a bath or shower, the hairs and skin softens up, so U get a smoother shave.

Mach 3, like Wilbs and Alex. Every now and then, I try disposable razors, and the blades aren't sharp enough and tend to cut my face due to the low quality blades. Also, electric razors seem to just yank at my beard and take too long to get the job done. I only shave about once a week, usually the morning of the weekly department head meeting, in case my boss gets a good close look at me.

I reflect my heat vision off a mirror. :wink_y:

P.S. Now that I think about it, Clark Kent's bathroom probably smells like burning hair. Ew.

Angry Badger wrapped in double-sided tape. It's like waxing, but even faster.

Gilette Slim Twist from around the late 60's and Derby blades, but I'm thinking about switching to Feathers. Really like Cade cake soap from L'Occitaine en Provence, but I usually don't have the time to break out the brush for a proper wet shave. I also use Prorasso/Bigelow once in a while for the mentholiness.

Usually though, I use Aveeno from a can because I get chewed up pretty bad if I wet shave with more than one day's growth.

I wish Gilette did a Mach 5 razor. It would come with two saw blades to shave with.

Shave everyday morning and night.
I learned with a hot towel/face cloth and straight razor.
Now I usually use a mach-3 or a quattro.Electric razor on my head.
Mostly dry shave my face or during my shower.
Try to hot towel method it works wonders.

Mach 3, Gillette gel for sensitive skin, Aveeno skin cream. I take a warm shower, use Cetaphil generic from Wal-Mart to help with clogged poors but to me it is worth the extra little bit of extra effort and price. I have super sensitive skin and it is the only thing that really works for me.

Gillette Sensor Fusion . . . . . the key is what you use on your face. King of Shaves Shaving GEL. There is nothing better to shave with!

Razor blades tear up my skin.
Electric razor is the only option...

I hate shaving, so I usually have a beard, but I shave once a week or once in two weeks. When I do, I shave under the shower, just using water, no gels or creams
