Not sure how the American Torchwood will impact the "flavour" of the traditionally british Doctor Who stories. Looks like Spike's not the only Buffy cast to enter the Who-Verse.

One good thing is I read it's not a reboot or new series.

It's a continuation --- only for some yet unexplained reason it will be filmed in the United States (LA to be exact)

A few other known American actors that are going to appear --- Bill Pullman, Ernie Hudson, C. Thomas Howell and John de Lancie

Only prob, I dont get the channel so I wont be able to watch it

I like Eliza best when she's playing that Eliza character... y'know. Faith. She can successfully transport that character anywhere... as a cheerleader in Bring It On, hopefully to Torchwood.

I think Dollhouse kind of showed the limits of her range. Fortunately for that show, she was surrounded by some incredible talent. It was actually the other two regulars playing "dolls" that really sold the concept week after week. Don't get me wrong, I loves me my Eliza, but Eliza putting on glasses and being a hostage negotiator is still Faith in glasses to me.

I don't think i like the idea of Americanising these great shows. they are UK shows with a UK flavor and should be kept as such. I have spoken, molt it shoulkd be.

LOL! Write your next project for her. Then you can work closely with her for weeks and weeks! I likes her too but am in my Christina Ricci phase right now.

I don't know if this will be a disaster or the greatest thing ever.

But it will sure be easy on the eyes.

I like her (she is a local girl after all) but I don't know about the show. The BBC shows should not be set in the USA. Yes come visit but don't stay. It's like a relative that stays to long and wears out there welcome.

Being Human also got a US revamp.
It's as if English is a foreign language or something.

I'll stick to the original formula, thank you very much...

If that's the case,I don't know why everyone is getting worked up. It would make sense that Torchwood has global branches, like UNIT.
